I currently serve as a Deputy Program Director for Data Services and provide technical oversight for the Integrated Total Army Personnel Database Enterprise Data Warehouse which includes all aspects of the software development life-cycle, Extract Transform, and Load (ETL) process, security, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M), Continuity of Operations (COOP), contingency planning, disaster recovery, personnel management, workload management, customer service, and managing customer expectations. I brief senior level management on costs, contracts, access control, and status of security requirements. I also perform the role of project manager for the data warehouse products and business intelligence web-application. I served as senior project manager for over 100 efforts for my current program and four (4) major projects for the Project Management Office, each spanning a year or more. (8/9/2010-6/20/2011) I served as Program Director for the mainframe Officer and Enlisted Systems in support of Army HR. Responsibilities fell into the categories of Program Management, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and IT Analyst. I performed supervisory responsibilities for up to 120 personnel.(5/5/2005-8/9/2010) I served as the Chief of the Information Assurance/Security Office. I represented the organization with a variety of councils, boards, working groups, and panels inside and outside the agency to ensure IA compliance. I served as the project manager for the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of the datacenter, including 93 applications and systems. I performed supervisory duties for 20 employees in four states.(9/7/2003 – 5/5/2005) I managed various projects and efforts including prototyping the first Wounded Warrior application. I provided technical input to senior leadership, analyzed the Army Reserve Personnel database and served as part of the data standards team. I served as operations officer for the division.

Senior Programmer Analyst, Web Master, and Project Manager: Developed, named, and registered SHR’s main HR business web-site: SHRUSA. This included developing the web site, qualitative and quantitative analysis for funding, layout, design, graphics, navigation, server setup, domain name registration, database development, and Active Server Pages development (http://www.shrusa.com). Developed functional and technical specifications and won funding from major stakeholders. Managed all aspects of my assigned IT projects and often served as team leader and senior developer. I was responsible for keeping the CIO, CEO and Senior VPs up to date on all projects. I managed scope creep and provided business and system analyst capabilities to the organization to ensure the development fit the business model. I served as the help desk supervisor, backed up the Oracle databases, and managed the payroll system.

I developed applications and programmed for a consulting firm. Responsibilities included project management and programming for web development, database development and Visual Basic projects. Tools included Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Active Server Pages (ASP), HTML, JavaScript, VB Script and graphics development. Duties included development, managing resources, cost, project plans, stakeholders expectations, managing change and impacts on meeting established project timelines, tasks, milestones, and objectives. I developed automated solutions for the following: Wave Online University. I registered the domain and created the URL for Carpet One (http://www.carpetone.com/)
