I worked for Export Packers and Eggnition Foods for 31.5 years, starting in the warehouse and working my way through the company. With Eggnition Foods, I was a vice-president until the company was folded into the EPCL umbrella. When Export Packers was the largest Canadian entity in the egg processing business, I travelled thoughout Latin America and Europe for 11 years and and with my U.S. partner built up a multi-million dollar export business for egg products.I was involved in purchasing, sales, logistics, inventory control, and almost every aspect of the business at one time or the other during my tenure at Export Packers.After the poultry division was sold to Janes Family Foods in 2008, I worked there as a consultant for 8 months and then honoured a 3-month non-compete agreement before we started Talia Foods on April 1, 2009.
