Serve as the U.S. European Command lead planner for all nine Northern Europe ​​​​exercises sponsored by the Combatant Commander. Provide the EUCOM political and ​​​military guidance to each assigned service component leading a specified EUCOM ​​​exercise. This guidance includes the political and military environment, global and ​​​regional implications, and desired outcomes. This framework requires coordination to​​​ the National Security Council and across EUCOM to ensure national priorities are ​​​understood and incorporated in exercise design and objectives.

Serve as lead planner and trainer for the Joint Staff J7 Joint and Coalition Warfighting supported exercises across Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs). Facilitates operational environment design planning for Partner Nation Engagement with Southeastern Europe and South Central Asia. Coordinates the interagency, multinational, and National Level Exercise (NLE) support requirements involving real world government leaders including the President of the United States

Senior lead analyst on a team of trainers and planners organized to support the USSOCOM Global War on Terror world-wide assessment. Primary support included training Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs) on theater strategic and operational assessments. Provided training support and expertise to the strategy and resource directorates of USAFRICOM, USEUCOM, and USPACOM in their strategy development and assessment processes for each command’s Theater Engagement Strategy. Developed the support plan for the Joint Staff annual Chairman’s Joint Assessment (CJA) which is the most comprehensive assessment for the DoD.

Led the training and planning support for the Joint Forces Command (JFCOM) Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) (formerly the Standing Joint Force Headquarters) engagement for all the U.S. GCCs. Lead planner for the SECDEF directed standup of the first GCC Standing Joint Force Headquarters (SJFHQ) capability at USPACOM and supported the same to USAFRICOM, USEUCOM, USNORTHCOM and USSOUTHCOM. Worked routinely with Inter-Agency (IA) leads to ensure coordination of information and goals for mutual support to the Combatant Commander and JTF Commander. Developed and trained the JECC Joint Planners Course (JECPC), requiring detailed understanding of and ability to teach and mentor the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP). Developed the concept of operations of the Blue Red Planner now called the Red Team Leader. This position provides threat related planning input/expertise required to promote the joint operations and overall planning process to Joint Force Commanders.Primarily engage with senior planners providing critical adversaries’ view of friendly actions, vulnerabilities, force protection, and enemy most likely and dangerous courses of action, through red teaming processes, to planning and operations execution.

Developed, mentored, and directed a dynamic training team of 12 senior facilitators charged to facilitate Secretary of Defense mandated flag officer and senior executive service civilian seminars focused on strategic leadership issues worldwide. The team trained over 6,000 of the most senior military and civilian leaders within the Department of Defense. Responsible for national security initiatives by coordinating and conducting international security assistance training. Conducted training and consultation with South African, British, Canadian, Australian, and Republic of Korea Armed Forces to implement senior leadership training programs.

Served as the USPACOM key staff expert for Air Defense issues requiring command positions. Responsible for achieving and maintaining U.S. Pacific Command’s combined interoperability of defense C4 systems. Executed interoperability issues as the USPACOM Command and Control Interoperability Board lead representative with Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Republic Of Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.
