I have 30+ years of experience in software design and implementation. I have chosen to be a generalist instead of a specialist: I have developed software for embedded systems, desktop applications, and Web 2.0 servers; I've used assembly language, Pascal, C, C++, C#, Java, and more; I've worked in hard real time environments, Windows, and Linux; the applications I've worked on include medical electronics, videoconferencing systems, accessibility software for the blind and dyslexic, data acquisition for metasearch engines, and data integration.For fun, I design, build, and program microcontroller-based circuits.Specialties: C++, C#, WPF, .NET, Microsoft Windows API, Object Oriented Design, Embedded systems.

The first implementation was in C++. I later re-implemented it in C# and WPF.I also re-implemented the data flow analyzer that modeled how the database data would move through the user's diagram.

I introduced object oriented programming to the group, designed and implemented a framework for the application that allowed new modules to be plugged in dynamically, adding functionality as desired. Used C++, MFC, and OLE (before MFC provided support for it).
