Portable Scores is building a connected portable electronic scoreboard that helps people play games together and enjoy a shared experience. With a large bright display, rugged design, and small enough to fit in a backpack, it has modes for any sport or game, and can be controlled with anything, including your smartphone.

The Allergy Amulet is a rapid, portable, point-of-consumption food allergen detection device that connects to a patent-pending disposable test strip. The device enables simple, mobile measurements to help individuals avoid ingesting target allergens/ingredients.

New product development, firmware, electrical and mechanical engineering.I developed the product line, which included a variety of sensors and control devices that all communicated on a mesh network. The devices were capable of sensing things like sound level, light level, temperature, humidity, water presence, among other things (products not yet released). Each of these devices would communicate through the mesh network and up to the cloud where data was aggregated and analyzed, and alerts sent when appropriate.Besides developing the devices, I also developed the assembly tools, managed the FCC certification process, created documentation, set up the assembly line and process, and handled support. With the assembly tools I developed we could track every bit of information about our hardware from its creation through its end of life, and reconfigure and recalibrate at any time, including in the field.

BlueTipz is the latest ice fishing technology made by Deep Freeze Fishing. We build tip-up lights that alert your smart phone when you get a strike, letting you relax in your shack and get notifications when you catch a fish.
