I served as the organization’s Interim Executive Director to begin implementing this strategy.Aga Khan Museum: assumed the role of Chief Development Officer in March 2020, as the pandemic took hold in Canada. During these challenging times, we secured $30 million of a $100 million campaign from individual donors and members. Whitby’s Station Gallery: conducted a campaign planning study and provided key recommendations on revenue development initiatives. Today the gallery is on track to drive revenue from philanthropy. Arthritis Research Foundation: developed a strategy and implementation plan, and provided counsel to the Board of Directors as they embarked on their merger with Sinai Health Foundation.Recruited by Habitat for Humanity Canada as VP Philanthropy to lead the successful national campaign that raised $3 million for the Carter Work Project in Canada. Championed the development of a robust national plan for philanthropy. Raised $23 million during tenure. Facilitated and guided the development of strategic plans and directions for:- Durham College Foundation- Community Development Council Durham- Durham Family Court Clinic- My Friend’s House- Digital Health Canada - North House- Dalhousie Medical Research FoundationIn collaboration with Empey Advisors Inc., we worked with Women’s College Hospital and Foundation to develop a best practice model for their working partnership. I have created content and delivered workshops and facilitation services for Boards and at major conferences.From 2018 to 2020 I affiliated with Global Philanthropic Canada as VP (Ontario) and Senior Consultant.
