Responsible for IT systems & personnel at Georgetown facility working closely with local management and Corporate IT. Under my direction, Georgetown IT systems & infrastructure made considerable advancements in software, network, virtualization, VoIP, Intranet, video, physical security, license compliance, & asset management.Budget: Managed ~$1M budget including complex quarterly corporate analysisManpower: Managed 1 employee + 4 FTE contractors at peakRetention: 100% employee/contractor retention in high-stress manufacturing environmentAudits: Coordinate activities with SOX auditors, participated in scrap/freight/shipping audits. Software audits included global Microsoft audit lasting 9+ months.Assets: Implement HPSM for IT asset mgmt valued >$100 including labeling ~1K devicesAccess Control: Plan/manage Matrix rollout including install of 4 turnstiles, 11 door controls, 2 servers, 4 PCs, 1 badging station, sidewalks/fencing in 3 months. Handle user training & admin.Video: Plan/manage Vicon video system for security/safety/production. Included 1 Nucleus, 4 servers, 47 cameras, PCs/TVs for viewing.Phone System: Replace Nortel PBX with Cisco VoIP with 2 redundant PRIs, 200 DIDs, 210 IP phones, & VGs. Initial cost of ~$150K with 4-year ROI.Network Upgrade: Replaced failing Cabletron gear with Cisco gear with 8 subnets & redundant fiber loops. Included underground fiber bore from office to plant under US Hwy 17.ERP: Support 25 local Sales/Accounting/Shipping & Corporate Credit & A/R users of the in-house Total Customer SystemTabware Admin: Provide local TabWare support & coordinated training for ~120 usersPlant Closure: Plan/implement IT steps for 2015 closure.
