True FAMILY nurse practitioner, with a combined 20 years of experience. I have 5 years experience working in an OB GYN private practice, 15 years of acute care pediatric experience with a focus on neurology/neurosurgery, Critical care , and cardiac ICU (Nationwide Children’s Hospital, University Hospitals Rainbow Babies, and Johns Hopkins) . Additionally I am proficient in primary and acute care of adults- which is my current focus. I started from the bottom and have worked my way up as a medical assistant, associate degree nurse, BSN, and now have my masters as of 2021. My favorite part of the job is patient (and family) education. Prevention is key! have also precepted new grads/employees and maintained PALS/ACLS/BLS certifications. Eventually I hope to take a leadership position and lead the next generation of providers.
