Oversaw the California Farmers Market Consortium, a statewide partnership of 12 partner organizations in 17 counties creating greater access to healthy fruits and vegetables to SNAP recipients (food stamps) through farmers markets, which was essential to the food system reform work Roots of Change is doing. Was instrumental in connecting a vast network of people representing different sectors of food and agriculture, and successfully increasing revenue for small farmers and healthy food access to under-resourced communities throughout the state. Was also the lead development staff person and grant writer, and successfully funded the Consortium from government and foundation grants.
