I have worked on several year-ends, compilations, & reviews. I have also prepared tax returns (990's, 1120's, & 1040's) and provided general guidance (on payrolls & financial statement presentations) to other accountants.

- Prepare 2 client’s payrolls, monthly/quarterly/year-end payroll taxes, vendor checks, W-2s, and 1099/1096s with more than 99% accuracy.- Compile, Review, or Audit Financial Statements of governmental, for profit, and not-for-profit entities; which can include planning, preliminary and final analytical reviews, obtaining an understanding of internal controls, assessing fraud risk, performing walkthroughs, evaluating compliance, and performing tests of accounting records (inspection, observation, confirmation, and examination); using both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as Other Comprehensive Basis of Accounting (OCBOA)- Responsible for preparation of yearly compilation financial statements for up to 11 school districts, two educational service centers, and a health benefit plan- Maintain accounting books and trial balances for 25 monthly/quarterly/year-end accounting clients with above-average client satisfaction; includes preparing trial balances through coding and posting of individual transactions, proposing/correcting adjusting journal entries and closing entries, preparing and tying out bank reconciliations and workpapers, and preparing management advice letters. This also includes preparing instructions for accounting procedures for clients. Consolidated and combined statements, accumulated other comprehensive income and unrealized gains, net of deferred taxes are just some of the accounting policies included in these clients' regular work.- Research accounting regulations (GAAP and OCBOA), prepare amortization schedules, and maintain/prepare depreciation schedules (tax, book, and AMT - useful life, salvage value, disposals & additions, gains/losses; knowledge of reporting regulations; & create adjusting entries) as a regular part of clients' period-end bookkeeping.- Review co-workers' work and train/advise new-hires and others on procedures.

- Manage Accounts Payable for 14 stores across 2 states using Peachtree Accounting software.- Perform banks' reconciliations for all stores.- Filing, answering phones, and other administrative duties.- Research tax and accounting regulations.

- Enter Accounts Receivable through proprietary internet software with more than 99% accuracy (business had revenues of a quarter million dollars).- Download customer order information and track in QuickBooks.- Perform bank reconciliations monthly.- Provide individual customer service and maintain business accounts with vendors.- Receive, package, ship and bill orders.- Track inventory and ordered additional stock as needed.- Prepare instructions for accounting procedures.
