I provide top-tier price assessment, analysis and news reporting for the widely-recognized benchmark Mont Belvieu and Conway natural gas liquids (NGL) markets. I am skilled in Python, Tableau, Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and PowerBI.

I provide daily coverage of NGL and petrochemical markets by reporting on and analyzing trades, bids and offers for a wide range of products on a regional basis.

I collect, analyze and visualize vast amounts of data on US petrochemical markets, using robots built with Kapow's Design Studio, advanced Excel skills and Tableau visualization software.

My primary duty is to help our editorial staff adhere to corporate and compliance policies, while providing an efficient framework for editors to pursue editorial benchmarks. I also assist the managing editor in day-to-day editorial operations.

I manage a team of four editors, who cover a wide range of markets, from crude oil to titanium dioxide. I ensure each editor adheres to strict compliance guidelines in order to satisfy guidance set forth by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). I help editors set and achieve yearly performance goals and targets through coaching and general guidance. My duties also include interviewing potential candidates and training new employees.

I write weekly reports where I assess the spot and contract prices as well as analyze the markets of several commodities, including ethane, propane and other natural gas liquids, methanol, ethanol, acetic acid and vinyl acetate monomer (VAM). I write news stories on these markets as well, including breaking news and in-depth analysis. I also edit and produce an award-winning podcast.

I was the lone business reporter at The Times, covering everything from the local General Motors plant to small businesses. I wrote about the well-established gaming industry, burgeoning entertainment sector, economic collapse of 2008 and its impact on Shreveport-Bossier, agriculture, employment, technology, restaurants, retail and so much more. I also had a weekly column, where I examined personal finance through my own experiences as a father and husband. Then in my spare time, I dabbled in sports reporting, covering high school football and mixed martial arts.
