Calendar section, Saturday, Books and other feature sections until Nov. 1, 2015, then returned to the national desk as a supervising editor. Supervised a daily staff of five to up to 25 copy editors. Worked on projects that included five Pulitzer Prize-winning series, Jonathan Gold's 101 Best Restaurants of Los Angeles and the growing run of The Envelope sections, focused on Hollywood award coverage. My title changed three years ago to Multiplatform Editing Manager to reflect the growing reality that most of the work done on a daily basis was focused on coordinating coverage on the online site but still included print, e-book and app platforms. I also occasionally wrote articles for the Los Angeles Times, some of which are included here.
