Responsible for the worldwide uplift activities for Monsanto's infrastructure hardware and software that is gone beyond it's lifecycle management expiration or end of life date. We track and manage all servers and infrastructure technologies that need to be kept current and viable so as not create new and/or additional risks for operations of the business processes of Monsanto. I work with 4 off shore PM's and a number of Windows and Linux engineers who work maintain OS currency along with other software products.

Altus is a nationally recognized "Data Center Migration Authority". We also do work in 1) IT Strategy; 2) Data Center Relocation; 3) Disaster Recovery; and 4) Cloud Migration. I am the teams Executive Consultant and Project Executive who has worked on five major IBM engagement over the last 10+ years. I am known for recovery of major programs that have gone south, financial leadership and strong team building.

I am currently on assignment with IBM in Pittsburgh, PA as an IBM Project Executive managing a $300+M 8 year infrastructure enhancement project with ITIL processes and other business improvement activities. We are also in the process of developing new business opportunities with UPMC and IBM in the areas of health care delivery within the patient room and looking into Healthcare Analytics Strategy with UPMC.

• Conduct a detailed analysis of IT systems, applications, software and hardware maintenance contracts, and any and all facility expenditures related to IT operations within the existing hospitals and facilities as well as corporate IT operations. With this information and detailed analysis of it, Team IBM will generate proposed alternative solutions for a corporate focused operations of standard applications and hardware platforms within the enterprise.

Program Manager for Enterprise Process Transformation Program and for Global Service Request, Incident and Problem Management Process Project. A program and project that are mutually supportive of one another. • I was also asked to create and developed new insights, action plans and executable processes for Reyes IT Infrastructure delivery of operational activities in support of day to day operations. • IBM and Reyes Holdings requested that I come in and also provide senior leadership with multiple Reyes Holdings IT department engagements with IBM and help define stronger governance and management of the overall infrastructure operational programs our companies are working on together.

• Developed new insights and action plans for deployment of DR solutions for the remaining Southern California (SCAL) pharmacy sites, the Regional Operating Centers (ROCs) and Northern California (NCAL) to support the roll-out and deployment of disaster recovery all Kaiser pharmacies.• Requested by IBM and Kaiser Permanente to come in and provide senior leadership with multiple KP IT departments and help define stronger governance and management of the overall DR program.• Working with a senior IBM BCRS (Business Continuity and Resiliency Services) Architect to define alternative DR exercise proposals as well as multiple Continuous Availability (CA) solution proposals for KP to consider in driving to a lower cost solution for resiliency for the pharmacies while increasing overall protection of customer data within the enterprise.

IBM was asked to provide a senior and well seasoned Program Executive who has done major program deployments in the hundreds and thousands of millions of dollars and who has managed multiple teams, multiple project managers with hundreds of program team members. Bob's 7+ years experience at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center transformation, first as the PMO Executive and then the last 3 years as IBM Project Executive were the right credentials for his being selected to fill the role of Program Manager for the extremely large dollar Epic roll-out program for NYC HHC to it's 22 primary care facilities. He is leading a team of 12 PM's and 1 PMA with the possibility of 14 more PMs and 1 more PMA joining the team in the next 12 to 18 months.

Working on an 8 year engagement between IBM and UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA. It is a $300+M engagement covering infrastructure re-engineering, ITIL processes and other business process enhancements. We helped UPMC with PMO activities and putting tracking and management processes around their project management activities. Also responsible for customer satisfaction and managing the delivery of a near $100M Services budget of activities.

6+ yrs w/IBM worked 5 high profile customers: 1) Citizens Natl Bank – Engagement Mgr, roll-out of 5k+ desktops & several hundred svrs in 100+ branch offices in 5 states. 2) Phillip Morris USA - IBM technology team developed a plan for Phillip Morris to consolidate 2 large data centers into 1. 3) Graybar Electric Corp - Flatten Graybar’s corporate US wide network & mgmt consulting for internal IT staffing issues for multiple teams. 4) Chase Home Finance - Sr. Engagement Mgr for CHF, Initial project was to build a data center consolidation plan; upon completion, asked to stay on as engagement mgr for plan implementation. Managed the consolidation of approximately 25 to 30 small to mid-sized data centers into 1 central data center in Columbus, OH, by successfully moving over 165 large distributed platforms. 5) JP Morgan Chase - Chase Home Finance - Provided leadership & strategic direction for CHF as BASDM while serving as an IBM PE for the JPMC outsourcing to IBM.

6+ months working for BSW Consulting and Steve Epner (the managing partner). Management consultant for a St. Louis law firm on biometric security devices. The engagement was to protect client/attorney privileged information and general security within the firm. Also worked on managing/developing a major web enablement for a national association with 10s of thousands of members across the country. The engagement included providing direction and leadership in building out the national web site presence, site security, site automation for sales of merchandise, and for managing the set-up and deliver of national and regional meetings. Numerous other smaller consulting activities were also executed during this time period.

Aggressively pursued by Enterprise to join their team and manage a new department for Client Server Technologies Engineering. Directed the building of a corporate- wide RFP, defined selection criteria, evaluated five national client server platform vendors and selected the winning vendor. Built the team from six people initially to over a dozen by the end of the year while producing exceptional results in delivering quality vendor and platform selections for all of Enterprise Rent-a-Car desktops, laptops, Intel Server platforms, and other client server/desktop peripheral platforms and add-ons.

Directed strategic planning, systems design, information technology selection, resource staffing for a multi-billion dollar health care insurance provider. Managed large system acquisitions, applications re-rights, and vendor selection of mid-range and client server systems. Also provided personal leadership and direction to the initiation of a major internet presence for GHP.

Directed strategic planning, systems design, information technology selection, resource staffing and implementation for an Integrated Healthcare Delivery Network (4 hospitals, 5,000 employees, 35+ facilities which included 26+ primary care physician practices with 100+ physicians). •Brought leading edge capability to an organization where information was a strategic imperative by designing comprehensive information systems and communications for a multi-hospital system. •Provided leadership for a multi-disciplinary selection process of a healthcare information system vendor and negotiated a $9 million healthcare information system contract for management of patient information and tracking of healthcare delivery to those patients. •Converted all IT systems from legacy mainframe technology with dumb terminals to client/server technology supporting in excess of 5,000 knowledge workers.

Created an Information System that enabled all branches of US Armed Services to track personnel and material while in transit; total project achieved at 50% cost and 25% time savings.• Implemented a totally automated national level command center to include all computers, communications, networks, audio-visual systems and furniture. Also built out a SCIF.

Directed a $1.5 billion radio and communications program for airborne and ground systems.

Lead a team through the requirements collection, definition and build out of PROMIS II the DOD system supported and maintained by the Air Force for the acquisition and procurement of young men and women into the armed services. PROMIS - Procurement Management Information System we developed and based on the airline industry system called SABER that makes airline reservations. This was multiyear project that came in on time and under budget. We also achieved "no end user requested system changes for over 12 months" as we pioneered a new method of application development at the time where we spent approximately 80% of our time in requirements developments and design and then 20% of our time in coding. This in turn generated a very stable product solution for the Armed Services and the USAF.

* As the Executive Officer to the commander of Air Force Inspection and Safety Center I was responsible for reading, writing and distributing safety and inspection notices for all of the United States Air Force. I read and wrote communications for the commander who was a 2 star general. I also provided guidance and direction to the staff in helping to ensure the safety of all Air Force assets world wide.

While at Andrews AFB, MD, I served as the executive officer to the commander of the 89th MAW and was fortunate enough to be selected my last eight or nine months while at Andrews AFB to interview for and be selected as a White House Social Aide to the President. This was under the Carter administration. During my collateral duty at the White House, I was again fortunate to be selected for duty as the personal escort to the First Lady for about four to five months of my tour at the White House. This was a very challenging and exciting opportunity to see how our government works - up close and personal.

Multiple Assignments in United States, Europe & Asia. I spent two years at Pope AFB, NC as a squadron administrative officer and flilght line safety officer; then off to Oson AFB, Korea for about 13 months where I was the both the Division & Group Headquarters Squadron Commander responsible for the lives and well being of about 1300 Air force men and women; and then it was off to Rimini, Italy for two years, where I was the headquarters squadron commander as well as an Operations Duty Officer working command and control of US national assets. It was after these three assignments that the rest of my Air Force career picks up above in my other positions and duties to my country.
