ComVida CIC are specialists in Debt and Life Skills, offering immediate and long term sustainable solutions to debt issues.

Having banged my head against walls for in excess of 45 years. I have decided it is time to stop. I now work part time for Community minded organisations that can offer the greatest impact, but often have the smallest funds.The Beautiful Days Society are Social Entrepreneurs, Project Managers. Who work with the community, performers, musicians, businesses other social enterprises and organisations to deliver exciting, collaborative, sustainable and sometimes radical solutions to communal entertainment and events....We are currently (2015) working with performers to gather donations to our local Food Banks.We supply the cement that brings, and then holds, it all together.. By working in collaboration everybody involved is a stakeholder and has an interest in the success of an event.A Beautiful Days Society event will be a quality event; value for money, facilities will be excellent for all, with provision for full mobility access. Giving customers, performers and the business's the confidence that it will be a great event.

Life Skills developer and Partnership Coordinator. My role is to develop working partnerships with other agencies to be able to coordinate and signpost clients with greater needs than the issues they have approached the CAB for advice on. To assess the underlying cause of he issue and to work in partnership to achieve a sustainable solution. Partnerships work in a 360 degree relationship. I also assist with immediate life skill issues. e.g. Translation, Form filling, CV writing, Domestic violence issues..

Ensuring compliance with the latest SORP requirements and End of Year deadline for auditing.Subject Matter expert on Implemneting Component Accounting processes to meet the latest SORP requirements.Recently responsible for the analysis, design, implementation and integration of the Business Process’s post installation of a new fixed asset Financial System. A new system that has been installed across a group of seven different RSL's.

. As a member of Cognizant's Advanced Solutions Group Europe, I was employed as a Programme Management lead. In conjunction with the Enterprise Architecture Design Team we offered a design and implementation solution to strategic initiatives within large and primarily global, organisations. As the PM lead assigned to a leading High Street Bank in London, my teams product delivery was: To prepare a 2 year enterprise wide Project Management change plan. Initially identifying existing projects and programmes that would require IT resource or commitment. Analysing them to see if they met the organisations strategic objectives and make recommendations to defer, or proceed.The production of a Target Operating Model and Change Management Plan for the introduction of an Enterprise wide PMO,This was a large scale change project across multiple banking sectors with challenging and complex stakeholders. In this instance the challenge was the complex stakeholders. In addition to good personalized communications and consensual benefits, the key to success was the division of the project into small work packages that produced positive results and created a more enlightened environment.After protracted discussion and negotiation the Target Operating Model and the Change Management Plan were approved and they have subsequently been implemented resulting in a 'Best in Class' EPMO with level 3 maturity, using onshore and offshore resources. Other assignments I was seconded too included: The turnaround by analysis, reconstruction and benefit tracking, of the PMO engaged on a high profile strategic project.

The Libra programme is a high profile Government (Ministry of Justice) project, using OGC gateways and Prince2 methodology. As the Programme Support Manager I instigated and was responsible for all facets of the Programme Management Office. Areas of responsibility included:• The Programme Budget, c£17million• Contract negotiation with MoJ of all change projects up to £2million• Project Management of all Change Projects• Project Accounting• Programme Planning, • Change Management • High Level communications plans – Road Maps, Timelines• Risk & Issue Management.• Resource Management• Raising and approving all invoicing of project. • Investigating financial exceptions.The PMO was the hub of all projects and related activities. The ethos was to be pro-active not reactive. Actively engaging with the Project Managers and providing forecasts of future scenarios for discussion.

A Social Enterprise outsourcing company specialising in the Project management, design and delivery of empathetic training and related educational courses and materials to disengaged individuals and staff associated with this sector.Norfolk Fire Service: Engaged as a Project Manager to deliver the Prince’s Trust Volunteer scheme.• Planned the delivery of the course academic content.• Prepared EEC grant application, • Assessment and delivery of Functional Skills lessons. Using individually adapted material.Consistently achieved the highest rate of success in the East Anglia area.Norfolk County Council Adult Education. Delivery of bespoke courses in outreach locations:• Initial Assessment• Tutoring of ITC, Management and Basic Skills. Specialised in difficult and hard to reach groups and individuals. Successful in achieving qualifications for individuals who had not succeeded in the past.The Purfleet Trust, a local charitable organisation assisting resettlement of offenders and vulnerable members of society. • Realigned a failing project enabling the organisation to continue to receive LSC funding.Norfolk Probation Service. • Designed and implemented a successful educational programme to assist offenders on Drug Test & Treatment Orders.

A Senior Programme Manager providing Project Management Consultancy & Support to subsidiaries within the group, Assignments I successfully delivered included:• A Business Change initiative, with a mandate to improve the sales income profit margins and the better utilisation of available resources. I created a sales team within Spring dedicated to ‘Value Added’. Within this department, Sales Margins improved from 27% to 43%.• Initiated and implemented a Project Management Office. The PMO successfully mentored and supported Project Managers. As this was a new venture the emphasis was on guidance and support.• Negotiated the contract, specification, finances, design and delivery of training and related services to 5,500 users within the National Grid. Valued at £2m.• Leveraged the Initial bid of £2million for the delivery of the training. Achieved maximised revenue by supplying additional staff and resources to complete the data migration and the hardware deployment, increased revenue by a further £2million.• Advised and assisted in the preparation of significant contracts, for VW-Audi, Allied Dunbar and Sainsbury’s for bespoke services, similar to those provided to National Grid.

• With a mandate ‘to improve the digital image collection and storage process in the newspaper’s library’. I successfully managed the full project life cycle, including:o Mapping expectations, Technical research, dependency management and the delivery of a system that improved the rate of image collection by 600% o Prepared the Business Case and Cost benefit analysis. o Project completed early and within budget.• As a member of the Project Team: Managed the Change of the IT infrastructure from a bespoke Unisys system to a Sun Systems UNIX package, over multiple Global sites. LAN & WAN. Primary responsibility was the planning and implementation of a new archived data warehouse, with no disruption to the Global live service, this involved complex and critical dependencies. A challenging environment with challenging stakeholders i.e. The Newspaper environment: very tight deadlines, high stress levels and no down time. “You can’t sell yesterday’s newspapers!” • Championed and initiated a Help Desk and Project Support Office.

Founder and Principle of an International School in Portugal (1988-1993) Set up school for expatriate children with learning difficulties, a school with a specialist market. Responsible for all business aspects, including Marketing, Financial, Premises and Resources. Active teacher delivering Business and Computer Studies to A Level.

Position: Director of an Estate Agents and Property Management Company (1988-1995) Assisted the company with 'growing pains' to enable future expansion. I was responsible for Commercial Property. Introduced Standardization of Property valuations and Asset costings and Standard processes and procedures. Responsible for Clients Fixed Assets, Planned and reactive Maintenance and record keeping for Tax/Accounting purposes.
