CurrentPromoted to serve as the key liaison between SM’s operations field staff and LongPath Technologies, testing ground-based LiDAR emissions detection in Sweetie Peck. Steer critical initiatives, including Permian frac water supply surveillance, Permian pipeline pressure monitoring, South Texas network expansion, and South Texas inventory tracking. Direct recruiting and interviewing related to the Permian Field Operations Technology Lead role.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬IMPACTS & ACHIEVEMENTS➤ Hand-picked to launch the new Operations Technology Team based on operational knowledge, project / people management at a detailed level, and expertise in bridging the gap between South Texas Production / IT.➤ Enhanced ESP and Failure Detection (33 wells tested with ~25 MBOE uplift at zero cost).➤ Optimized Gas Lift Injection (8.5 MMcfd compression reduction across 60 wells and ~20 MBOE uplift). ➤ Oversaw a successful ALP Pump Checker replacement ($200k+/year software license reduction). ➤ Mentored and trained staff on AFE preparation, approvals, and project management via routine check-ins.➤ Finalized drilling data ingestion / visualization to improve drilling efficiencies and capture “live” completions data for Real-Time Casing Deformation Analysis and advancement towards SM’s vision of smart fracs. ➤ Led Austin Chalk wells choke design efforts by sizing properly for new well performance, foregoing spool piece requirements, and eliminating restrictions for compliance with NDIC, MT DNRC, WOGCC, and BLM regulations. ➤ Enabled 5 & 2 schedules by driving Pump by Priority use with Seven Lakes Technologies – oil & gas production software to reduce LOE and improve operational efficiency – while guiding field staff and lease operators.
