• Maintenance of detailed item master data in Navision which is important for all baseline reporting • Responsible for inventory accuracy throughout the year with daily inventory transactions, including the buying and selling between inter-companies (three tiered company structure where inventory is bought into one company, held in a set of mid-level companies, and sold out of another company, all under the GSM umbrella)• Perform a yearly inventory count and reconciliation every January (1-2 day process)• Ensure inventory to GL reconciliation for monthly accounting/financial closing• Ensure cost accuracy in Navision for all items• Maintain item data in 3rd party databases for customers (HEB, Meijers) as well as GDSN through 1WorldSync (for Walmart, Sears/Kmart, etc)• Work daily in Excel to analyze sales and purchasing data to identify inventory discrepancies• Experience in eBay and other online sales platforms to move aging and excess inventory (listing items, collecting money and shipping those items)• Experience in domestic purchasing of inventory items (mostly items that are hard to find, or one time buy opportunities for specific customers)• Help solve problems daily with regards to Navision and processes within the company often shifting gears mid-stream to help other users
