I work for Metro Vancouver's Environmental Management group. My current role involves the coordination of and field sampling for the region's recreational water quality monitoring program. I support other programs including the Burrard Inlet Water Column program with vessel work utilizing a Seabird Scientific CTD carousel, technical report writing, and data analysis in MATLAB; and the wider group with environmental data analysis and reporting via. Python scripting with relation to Environmental Water Quality Guidelines.My focus during my undergraduate degree was marine research with coursework, field, and lab experience covering general biology; oceanography; terrestrial, microbial, and marine ecology; fisheries; and data science work in MATLAB and R.I am always keen for new opportunities to grow as a marine scientist. In particular, biological data and environmental scientist positions or graduate (M.Sc.) opportunities where I can apply my skills in data science and field work.
