I have developed various different forms of documentation for Software Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Descriptions and Test Results; and have executed approved Plans/Procedures in many different environments for all phases of testing (e.g., unit, module, interface, integration, system and acceptance testing). My familiarity with many software and scripting languages (Assembly, C, C+, FORTRAN, Ada, KORN, SQL) provides me with a great understanding of software capabilities and limitations. Excellent communication skills and a software development/testing background have assisted in my initiation of processes, where they were lacking, to gather requirements from customers and internal departments (e.g., sales, manufacturing, software development, R&D) and document them appropriately. A Process background (Software Engineering Institute, Capability Maturity Model) has provided experience in not only conducting and implementing testing procedures but also in identifying shortcomings (i.e., process, procedure, documentation, analysis, etc.) in existing organizations and helping to create the missing or modify the existing pieces necessary to meet the company’s goals for improvement, quality assurance and growth.
