BOBBY DOUGLASHailing from Northern New Jersey he has been a student of the world of music since the tender age of five when he began his studies in classical piano with Alex Chiappinelli, president of the New Jersey Music Education Council,and the Pianoforte School of Music.He continued his studies in attendance at Newark’s prestigious NEWARK SCHOOL OF FINE and INDUSTRIAL ARTS(ARTS HIGH SCHOOL), the first music and art high school in America, and then moving on to the Manhatten School of Music and NYU to study film scoring and arranging.Bobby has honed his writing, singing, and playing skills which has garnered him a American Music Award nomination and a Grammy Award nomination while working with many recording artist over his career. Some of which included several years on the road and recordings with such great artists as, Luther Vandross, Brian McKnight, George Benson, Madonna, George Clinton, Dionne Warwick, Kelly Rollins, Tank, Heather Headley, Isaac Hayes, Joe, Chaka Khan, Lisa Fisher, Keith Sweat, Melba Moore, Stephanie Mills, Taylor Dayne.Bobby has maintained his Musical Directorship for 80's Pop Diva Taylor Dayne for the past 20 years.Now an AIRSTAGE partner and VP of Artist and Venue acquisitions his relationship skills are being tapped to assist the new app phenomenon AIRSTAGE to sign up new emerging artist and venues to help them create and widen their fanbases and broaden their footprint in the entertainment industry.
