Total control of all construction associated with the site area allocated, scheduling works such that the contracted end dates are achieved. • Ensuring that method statements for the construction works are produced in line with the correct guidelines and safety plan requirements checking those produced by other staff within the allocated areas prior to issue. • Dealing with sub-contractors for proper co-ordination and progress of the job • Supervision of day-to-day works in accordance with project specifications and procedures to the lines and level as mentioned in the drawings. • Daily coordination with supervisory staff and subcontractors for day to day progress & resolving issues related to quality, production and safety. • Supervision & overall watch on working of all the skilled and unskilled labours sand extracting maximum output from minimum manpower. • Coordination with Subcontractor to complete work on time. • Checking sub-contractors bills and variation claims etc. As per actual site progress. • To ensure that project is progressing exactly in accordance with the laid down target set. • Attending weekly and monthly site meeting with Consultant and Subcontractors. • Keeping record of log books for all equipment engaged on hiring basis as well as external staff. • Preparation of daily / weekly / monthly project activity report. • Checking status of Material availability at site and follow up with storekeeper for material request. • Discussing day to day activities with Project Engineer / Construction Manager. • Scheduling the site activities with planning department. Compared actual progress against schedule project. • Maintaining the good quality of work and maximum progress at site.
