-Maintain pre-owned vehicle inventory at a target 30 day supply.-Appraise all incoming used vehicles trade-ins.-Follow reconditioning and pre-owned certification process-Ensure that cosmetic and mechanical reconditioning is performed within the dealership’s cost and time limitations.-Plan and control the display of used vehicles-Establish and control wholesale activities-Keep abreast of auto auction activity and price on a regular basis.-Approve all paperwork from auctions and provide proper documentation to the office for purchases.-Develop and maintain outside sources (wholesalers and retailers) for both buying and selling units.-Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect used vehicle sales-Utilize vAuto for all inventory management, appraising, etc.-Monitor customers likes and dislikes, lost sales, dealership sales history, and conduct local market analyses to determine which vehicles to stock-Communicate daily with the sales managers regarding anything relevant to used car targets and inventory.-Train and lead a sales team-Attend manager meetings
