It's just me in a truck, which it's cabin is my office causing my office view to change every day (and being here in TX hill country is AMAZING). I have no one over my shoulder, absolutely no micromanagement; as long as I get the job done, no one bothers me at all during the day. I get to meet different people every day; we have great teamwork amongst my coworkers and our dispatch. The owner still has a family sense about him concerning his employees. Pay is good and job entails a little more than driving, but still super easy to do. Only downsides would be dealing with traffic, rude people on the road, and certain places difficult to get into (downtown areas especially). All in all, grateful for where I am and what I'm doing.

Drove a semi truck pulling mostly "reefer" trailers all across the country. Mainly did team driving, but ended up doing solo driving the last 3 months with the company.

Houston, Texas Area

Responsible for making sure the installations and services done of products ranging from cabinets to countertops to flooring (vinyl, wood, carpet) to window coverings were done correctly and in a timely manner. Was responsible for supervising over the installers, service techs, and installs. Was also responsible for creating services to correct anything needed or was wrong with the installation. Helped clean up as far as work needing to be done on the south side, the west side, and the northeast side of Houston. Incessant, constant communication between the client and the home office(s) was absolutely vital to the progress needed towards the completion of the work required.

Houston, Texas Area

Responsible for measuring and drawing up for installations of cabinets, countertops, and window coverings products. In part, reading blueprints provided by both the clients and Wisenbaker was absolutely necessary, and at the same time making sure the area product needed being installed was ready for installation was required. Constant communication between the office and the client was essential. From time to time, meeting with the clients as well as the installers was necessary due to some changes having been made after the measure was done, to come up with a solution to get the install completed.

Responsible for taking the orders for installs and/or services for the next day and scheduling them out and assigning them to the installers. Also, was responsible for receiving the work orders of installs completed and correctly paying out the installers and techs for the work completed. Was responsible for closing out any audits created from extra material added to the order. Also, had to coordinate with Order Fulfillment, Inside Sales, Template, and Territory Manager departments to completing installs/services needed.

Houston

Responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and servicing security systems (fire, alarm, and camera). Had to run wire throughout buildings and walls to the correct locations and then connect them all correctly to their correct terminals; had to use ladders and various types of lifts to do so. Had to know an extensive amount of devices, software, and hardware. Had to know how to use tools of all kinds. Aided Security departments of several stores in being able to get the right shots to capture what they needed.

Houston

Was responsible for picking up tires (old and new) from various locations and take them to the appropriate locations. Drove various types of trucks to do the deliveries, even having to use on several occasions a long gooseneck trailer. Helped the warehouse out every once in a while with arranging the tires in stock and working through the inventory process.

Houston, Texas Area

Responsible for answering the phones and guiding, answering, and solving customers and clients in any issue, question, or problem they had. Constantly had to learn as software continually kept updating and new problems, bugs, and issues would arrive. Customer Service and Technical Expertise were a must.

Houston

Started out in the warehouse, in charge of the wood department; had to get the material ready for the installers for their installs for the next day. Had to maintain the inventory and stock of the material in the department. Then moved to the Billing department where the responsibilities entailed keeping track of several accounts and paying them out. Then moved to Operations Manager for the Retail Center. Was responsible for managing the warehouse, as well as assisting the designers and sales people in creating and closing installs/jobs.

Puerto Montt

Responsible for teaching English of various levels to people of different ages and status (children to adults; students to teachers to business men/women, etc.)

Texas City

Worked overnight in the Jewelry department, having to stock, clean, and manage inventory, as well as getting the area ready for the next day.

A second job to the Walmart job; had to teach Math and English for grades Kinder through 12th at a small private Christian school.

Alvin, Tx

Started as a cashier, then was moved to "the floor" after earning best cashier of the month three times in a row. Then, earned best department of the month three times in a row. Responsibilities throughout were closing out the purchases the customers brought to the register, as well as help bag their items. Then, had to maintain the Papergoods/Chemical department, by constantly keeping it stocked and clean. Had to assist customers with any questions related to the products, aisle, or store they might have. Also assisted with security for the store.
