Bobby has 40+ years’ experience in international development and humanitarian action, including 13 years at Chief Executive level and 8 years in universities in the UK and Zimbabwe, researching and teaching on development issues. His work is grounded in some 15 years’ field experience in Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe, working in agriculture, water, sanitation, environmental research and rural technologies, and a small family farm in Ireland. Researcher at WEDC, Loughborough University, UK and the University of Zimbabwe: Research, development and training in environmental research and small-scale irrigation in Africa; Multi-disciplinary research and advocacy on dambo (small valley wetland) cultivation in Zimbabwe.
