At DLR group I do work in the hospitality, justice & civic, and workplace sectors. For each project I make every effort to ensure that our designs exceed client expectations and follow the ideals of DLR Group. We work to reduce any negative impact of our buildings through adherence to sustainable principles and design spaces with an emphasis on occupant health, comfort, and safety. DLR Group is an integrated design firm and so I work closely with our in-house engineers to meet these goals and provide well-coordinated and cohesive projects.

While working at Environs development I helped design and document several iterations of plans for a 7 lot luxury single family residential development. My work focused primarily on getting documents ready to submit for permit to the city of Chicago which I did for each indvidual home that was intended to be built.

I helped the university with its efforts to reach the goals established by the Oregon Model for Sustainable Development. To do so I managed energy efficiency upgrade projects, helped pursue sustainability options that fulfilled LEED credits, and produced content for green touchscreens to educate the community about building systems and campus efforts to increase energy efficiency and improve the learning environment.

Coordinated work onsite during the construction of a montessori elementary school which included working with architect's, engineers, and the contractor to achieve LEED certification.

Drafted construction documents. Researched materials to be included in projects. Prepared presentation drawings.
