During the summer of 2017-2018, I received a scholarship through the Asia New Zealand Foundation (ANZF) to work overseas in Mysore, India at Skanray Technologies. I worked in the Medical Healthcare Research Office as an electronic engineer. During my time with Skanray, I contributed to a project developing a cardiac arrest assistance device. I managed my own research, formulated reports, designed circuits and distributed my results. Utilising excellent communication skills, I have developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff.

Throughout my high school years and first few years of university, I worked part time as a cook at KFC Hamilton East. My responsibilities in this role included opening and setting up the store for the day as well as cooking food items for the entire day.

During the summer of 2016-2017, I worked at Plant and Food Research (PFR) as a student intern. My project at PFR involved designing and building a test rig for the use of testing corrugated cardboard using the newly patented PFR method (The Fluid Tap Method). This project required me to construct a mechanical rig, use LabView to control the system, data analysis and the design and implementation of electronic hardware on the test rig
