Subject matter expert in aviation ground and air safety procedures; safety regulations and policies; incident investigations; risk mitigation; environmental considerations; and SOP development. Coordinate with the SMW SOAG military mentors for required safety TAAM focus areas; support military mentor Lines of Effort (LOE). Provide assistance to SMW Squadrons during periodic RIP/TOAs. Provide all reporting and documentation requirements to the SMW SOAG team leader. Build and maintain positive relations and rapport with teammates, the client (US, NATO, and Troop Contributing Nation military forces), and Afghan counterparts. Understand and adhere to Theater ROE (Rules of Engagement).
