Leading the delivery of projects (including events, communication campaigns, print/design items, web development or video production) for some of the UK's best known brands, and managing the activity of the team assigned to these projects. Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of each assignment were met on time, within budget, achieved the objectives set by the client and were audience-appropriate. Some of the specific responsibilities included:

• On site event management of live events including Concerts, Festivals, conferences, award ceremonies, launch parties and roadshows
• Health & Safety Management inc. Events Safety Management Plans, Fire & Risk Assessments• Building and developing trusting relationships with clients including board/exec level stakeholders’ • Developing productive working relationships with a variety of suppliers, contractors and venues• Client contact for large corporates, from executive boards to procurement, ensuring projects are delivered according to expectations
• Management of team members and suppliers ensuring that all projects were delivered to the highest possible standard
• Acting as Senior Account Manager for clients including Leeds University, Leeds Metropolitan University etc…• Keeping up to date project files, critical paths, production schedules, site plans and so on
• Attending debriefs and ensuring that feedback is implemented
• Taking briefs and leading key pitches and creative brainstorms
• Briefing in design, print and video work to relevant departments or external suppliers, and ensuring the finished products meet client requirements and were suitable for the given audience
• Responsibility for the quality of work of all assigned staff
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and venues, and conducting site visits
