Worked as a direct service counselor where I assisted students with academic, social and emotional concerns. I utilize a humanistic approach when working with students by building rapport and helping students’ realize their potential. My duties include academic advising, course selection for students and brief group counseling.

Worked collaboratively with teachers, parents and other stakeholders in facilitating a comprehensive counseling program for adjudicated youth. I utilize career inventories, psycho educational evaluations, to develop a treatment plan for each youth housed within the facility.
