I was responsible for all survey needs and managing the areas quality and quantity as well as verification. Everything performed was required to be within a given tolerance set by the general contractors. I worked hand in hand with the project managers and superintendents from Bridges and Roads, Road Maker, Altus, and in doing so this allowed me to gain knowledge and skills in management and scheduling. I also managed the production between myself and the subcontractors monthly in all my zones. As well I contacted all foreman, engineers and project superintendents and managers for daily or weekly meetings in my zones to go over issues or potential issues with the subcontractors or the job task. I worked hand in hand daily with all the different foremen and their crews to ensure good quality and proficiency. I calculated all my own work and even created the horizontal and vertical alignments for the MSE walls on the 121 and 75 project. I completely understand the import of increasing production and doing it right the 1st time in a safe manor, and staying ahead of schedule while being cost efficient.
