Managed performance based and guaranteed fixed price environmental remediation and construction at nine locations across the US. Achieved regulatory closure of CERCLA and RCRA regulated sites containing unexploded ordnance and the redevelopment of contaminated sites for commercial use. Mentored project managers, oversaw progress of projects, monitored budget and schedule, coordinated subcontracts, tracked contract compliance, and ensured successful performance of projects. Negotiated cleanup strategies with environmental regulators. Achieved regulatory closure of sites containing unexploded ordnance and the redevelopment of contaminated sites for commercial use.  Led business development, pricing, client relationships, and proposal development for this business line. Led negotiations with cost cap insurance providers. Tracked and directed project execution within the business line. Obtained over $25 million in new contracts. Obtained over $50 million in new contract capacity.  Established MKM in the performance based remediation market. Obtained the first Guaranteed Fixed Fixed Price Remediation (GFPR) award and the largest GFPR contract award to an 8(a) firm in competition with larger firms.

Environmental manager for: 1. Department of Defense Assembled Chemical Weapons Assessment - responsible for advancing the design and construction of innovative (R&D) toxic chemical weapon disposal technologies. 2. Rocky Mountain Arsenal environmental remediation site - integrated the environmental and safety management activities of the US Army, US Fish and Wildlife Service, and Shell Oil Company. Provided technical assistance to field teams in the handling of unique environmental, safety and health concerns, such as, the disposal of highly reactive and highly toxic wastes at the site. 3. “Dirty bomb” - managed a national study of the threat for the US Department of Energy. 4. Russia - supported a transfer of toxic chemical destruction technology to Russia. 5. Trans Alaska Pipeline System - Deputy manager for the NEPA, regulatory and technical studies for the Bureau of Land Management renewal of the right-of-way grant for the 800-mile Trans Alaska Pipeline System.
