Materials Coordinator/Logistics
• Responsible for the return of damaged goods “RMA” 1). Inspect all incoming equipment for damage and file claims 2). Record and report any shortage or discrepancies• Support, the deactivation process as required 1). Ensure assets under deactivation are properly identified by make, model and serial number 2). Follow up and confirm that said equipment has been deactivated and is available for reuse or disposal.Shipping/Receiving• Asset tag all incoming equipment to show owner ship as IBM or Customer with colored tags (silver for IBM and orange for customer)• Maintain and update Receiving and Shipping Logs1). Created a spreadsheet to show all activity on a daily basis of incoming and outgoing shipments• Inventory tracking of equipment movement within IBM by data base entries1). Use, SAP/Score data base system2). Enter onto spreadsheet entry of tracking information along with serial number, make and model3). Create packing and shipping labels for freight deliveries• Co-ordination between PM’s and Build Teams on shipping dates and ETA’s. 1). Keep teams informed and updated on shipments for customer builds• Work, with Fulfillment Team to ensure tracking information is available 1). For incoming shipments of equipment to be built or upgraded for customers2). Damaged goods are returned (RMA Process) for credit and or replacement3). Missing items are accounted for and for the general control of all assets that have been ordered.
