Over the years I have gained experience in employee relations, customer service and most importantly all aspects of human resources. Currently primary experience is in financial management as well as planning and development within communities where I was required to deal with HR policy implementation and people management. The ability to deal with employees, co-workers, as well as customers is something I feel is very important and is an area I am very confident with. The skills I have learned at Thompson Rivers University and my current experience working as a Finance Manager makes me an excellent candidate for a wide variety of positions.I also have extensive experience in computer software/hardware training programs for work and educational purposes which is also very beneficial in the way technology has advanced throughout the years. My 2 years experience as Finance Manager with Ts’kw’aylaxw First Nation has provided me with the tools and experience with dealing with AANDC/FNHA funding, policies and procedures.I also have a wide range of experience working with businesses in regards to project management and participating/implementing community meetings as well as initiating info sessions for community membership as well as leadership. Current business project I'm working is Skyblue Water Resort located on Pavilion Lake. Excellent summer getaway with lakeside cabins.One of my best traits is that I enjoy working with people and I am a true believer in team work and the development of job skills. I am hardworking, flexible, and passionate about the Project Management/Human Resource fields and understand the essential roles each play within an organization. Clearly communicating with people in the most efficient way possible is always best for all involved and is an area that is very important to an organizations success.
