Champion for staff wellbeing initiatives. Focused on registering employers for the Thrive at Work Wellbeing programme- free to join- with accreditation at bronze, silver and gold levels. We have a team of passionate staff that support employers to help improve their employees' physical and mental wellbeing, and gain recognition for their efforts. Given Covid-19 and its ramifications on the world of work, there has never been a more important time to address this agenda and support the health of our workforce.

Employer Engagement is an important part of the work of Defence Relationship Management (DRM) and the RFCA - encouraging employers to engage with and support the Defence Community, thus demonstrating the highest level of Corporate Social Responsibility.Raising awareness of the huge benefits of employing Defence personnel, and supporting companies to sign the Armed Forces Covenant, and pledge their support to the Armed Forces community.

My focus was on helping people aged 19+ and in receipt of Universal Credit, ESA, JSA and Income Support access employment, apprenticeship and training opportunities. I also provide advice and guidance to 16-18 year olds about apprenticeships and study programmes. I have been directly involved in the promotion and successful delivery of 1000+ courses exclusive to job seekers. Key Skills & Achievements• Established BMet as the most consistent provider of AEB provision in Birmingham for the unemployed• Co-ordinated delivery of 100+ sector based work academies with BMet, DWP and employers • Since August 2012, I’ve helped 10,000 people gain qualifications, generating £8.5million of AEB funding for BMet• A strong record of achievement in delivering first class recruitment and training campaigns including Sigma Finance, JLR, Mitie, BNP Paribas, Park Regis, Pendersons, West Midland Safari Park, Ladbrokes and more.• Account Manager for DWP and around 30 other welfare to work providers, including APM, Ingeus, Remploy, St Basils, Prospects, SRS, Trident Reach, Prince’s Trust and WM Probation Services• Marketing & Network Specialist with an extensive contact list of people connected to helping the unemployed into work. I provide bi-monthly updates with creative content about BMet courses and apprenticeships, generating measurable business returns• Expert knowledge of further education sector, AEB funding and the local labour market• Have led the day to day project management of the longest running sector based work academy in Birmingham, helping over 400 people secure work at Sigma Finance, across 60+ courses in a 26 month time span

Worked with an average of 200 clients on the Work Programme, managing a caseload and ensuring successful client journey into job training, skills development and employment. Kept professional and thorough administrative record of client journey using MAYTAS system. Developed good understanding of mental health issues and provided meaningful intervention to help reduce the effects of anxiety, depression and panic attacks on a working person's life.

Working with key referral agencies to promote outstanding vocational courses available for free for unemployed people seeking work. Delivering starts onto skills courses in Retail, Business Admin, Health and Social Care, Cleaning, Horticulture, Construction, ESOL, English for Work and many more.

Working across various roles primarily in supporting people to find jobs, gain confidence and reawaken positive self-belief. Developed outreach strategies to engage local people to sign up to council funded employability programmes. Worked successfully and humbly with lone parents, 18-24 year olds and ex-offender groups.Delivered one-to-one and group training on variety of employment disciplines including CV writing, interview skills, mock interviews, personal skills for the workplace and goal setting.
