When it comes to marijuana multimedia, I'm a jack-of-all-trades with over a quarter-century of experience and name recognition. I worked at High Times for 21 years in various capacities—first as production director, then associate art director, then later as senior editor and primary brand representative. During my time there, I wrote the monthly stoner lifestyle column Almost Infamous for 12 years, served as competition coordinator and lead reporter for the Cannabis Cup, created and ran the Miss High Times Contest, produced a rock and roll compilation for High Times Records, and produced and hosted numerous events, including the Doobie Awards (SXSW), the Miss High Times Pageant (Negril, New York), and the Ganja Goddess celebration (Las Vegas). I also oversaw production of all company materials, including the magazine itself, as well as all promotional and event materials, ads, product packaging, etc. Since leaving High Times in 2015, I have served as editor for two other cannabis publications (GreenLeaf, Sensi) and contributed to a few others, launched two podcasts (Blazin' With Bobby Black, Cannthropology), and served as Brand Manager for the multiple award-winning cannabis genetics company Crockett Family Farms.
