System Support Engineer responsible for installation, remedial maintenance, proactive support, and professional services engagements in central NJ on all Sun Microsystems equipment. Activities include Solaris installations and certifications. Next level support for field engineers on all Sun servers and storage. Implemented Sun Enterprise Installation methodology that ensured consistent and high quality server and storage setups.Produced Risk Analysis Reports for customers that reduced potential vulnerable systems.Provided proactive system analysis, tools, methodologies, and Best Practices that reduced costs and increase system availability. Utilized broad range of resources that resolved complex customer problems. Conducted regular account review meetings with major Sun customers that promoted customer satisfaction.

Participant in Sun Enterprise Services "Best of the Best" college recruit program, which consist of entire year of intensive training to learn all aspects of technical service delivery. Formal classroom training were conducted in Solaris and Hardware, in which the Solaris System Administration Certification was obtained within three months after the program started. The "BoB" program also included rotations through all technical groups (Unix/Storage/Systems/Network/Kernel/X86/Java) within the Sun Solution Center, as well as a field rotation to interface with the customer base directly.Only 20 college graduates were selected (10 in west coast, 10 in east coast) to participate for this inaugural Sun Service BoB program.
