As a result of losing two parents when I was a young, I narrowly missed entering the orphanage system. Thankfully I had another family member, my second mom, Betty, who was able to care for me. This experience led to my involvement with the Carolina Youth Development Center & many other organizations that support children. I want to encourage and empower children, & people of all ages, to be the leader of their own life by not taking short cuts or becoming a victim of their circumstances. Finally, my wife Kristin, along with our children Tanner, Keenan and Banks, are the core of my life. Being able to share time with them is what matters most to me, and we all enjoy giving back to our South Carolina Community together. We are fortunate to live on Sullivan’s Island, a place that provides an environment to spend time on the water surfing, fishing, and boating with friends and family.
