This includes advising on land use and permitting matters and negotiating contracts around ground leases, power purchase agreements, mergers and acquisitions, environmental attributes and renewable energy certificates, employment, and regulatory and policy matters.Previously, I was an attorney at a prominent Denver-based law firm, where I handled complex real estate development and advanced energy matters, including serving as lead attorney for some of the nation’s largest developers and institutional equity providers. I also serve as a publicly elected official on the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD’s) Board of Directors. I began my career as a middle school teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools.
