Educate and add value to youth

Performed as the Lead Summer Camp Coordinator for over 60 children while maintaining a monthly budget of about $21,600 with responsibilities that included recruitment, planning and coordinating weekly offsite trips as well as other promotional special events related to public relations, and soliciting special guest speakers to visit the campus to present to the children. To be knowledgeable and enforce the state policies and procedures to the staff and maintain a conducive environment for the learning and recreation.Managed 10 Junior Camp Counselors including finalizing the weekly scheduling coverage and providing training in the areas of leadership skills, safety and mentoring. Provided regular status to the Program Recreation director regarding offsite trips activities and various reports about the campers and staff.

To educate the overall health and well-being of Texas adolescents, 10-18 years of age, in a classroom environment and to prepare them with a strong foundation for adult life by conducting service learning opportunities, abstinence education seminars and teen and youth summits.Create opportunities for youth in the community to conducting a local needs assessment and develop a strategic plan for their communities to address adolescent health through a comprehensive youth development approach. To consult homeowners that have suffered a financial hardship and were unable to maintain their mortgage payments, once we identified the extent of how long they would be in the situation we would initiate different government supported programs that could help them to recover financially.
