Semantic web technologies is used to build business platforms with more agility, more functionality and much lower build costs.Key responsibilities- Lead all design services for the company including UX and UI design. Collaborate with the team to design IP to enable the company to rapidly produce, test, and iterate high quality design deliverables.- Collaborate with the team to create strategic and creative concepts for digital, web, and mobile products and applications that deliver on business requirements and create real value for users.- Collaborate with peers and external teams to design information architecture, scope, deliverables, working sprints, testing plans, strategies and guiding visions for each project.- Rapidly design and prototype design concepts for testing, iteration, and development.- Design beautiful, simple, and highly functional user interfaces for a variety of digital products and applications.- Test and optimise products and applications to make sure they’re functioning to the best standard possible. As a senior I lead the design team fromthe front with quality of work, thought leadership and mentoring.Key Responsibilities• Assist the Account Managers during solution design, to derive the scope that can be designed within the allocated time/budget.• Assist the Account Manager in writing the project brief, interpret and analyse client workshop findings to establish a clear creative direction for the project.• Plan the design portion of all projects in a detailed manner, breaking down the required scope in order to deliver a robust execution plan within the allocated budget.• Lead the UX component of each project, understand the client’s various user groups and their unique objectives in order to design a solution that provides an exceptional user experience.• Lead the UI & Visual component of each project, create an aesthetic & user flow that is intuitive and aesthetically-pleasing.• Work with Front End Developers to devise and implement interactive components based on my UX, UI and visual design. Online Republic is one of NZ’s largest global e-commerce group, specialising in the travel industry. As their in-house designer, I was the go-to person for anything design and web related.Key Responsibilities• Designing and producing websites for brands operated by the company, as well as further development of brand strategies.• This includes designing the brands’ collateral, promotional media (brochures, direct mail, advertising), user interface for mobile applications, and social media promotions.• Also in charge of the production, design, and maintenance of the user interface for the company’s internal systems.• The company’s recent move to a new office environment also called for new design graphics for the refurbished interior.• Responsible for the company’s total rebrand in 2010, including the redesign of their logos, websites, and and physical office space.
