As a graduate engineer, I gained experience in a variety of different design areas including: drainage, sewer, water, grading, electric/communication duct bank and site layout. This experience was gain completing projects for multifamily, commercial office/retail, and medical uses. While in this roll, I gravitated toward a very technical roll and therefore also had the opportunity to explore and utilize a variety of different tools to solve problems. A few examples include: writing custom C# code for Civil 3D to improve efficiency of design processes; creating scripts for QGIS to create automated watersheds and fire hydrant protection exhibits for hose lay; work with terrestrial scanner point clouds to complete visibility studies, drainage issue regrading efforts, and wall face deviation analysis; used Siteops to create quick conceptual grading plans; used Infraworks for visualization of project grading and utilities both for personal QAQC purposes and client presentation to convey grading intent; used Revit to create an electric yard conduit plan. Being able to explore all these different areas, I also helped revise standards to incorporate the tools created and provide training to peers on utilizing different techniques/tools to put together more optimized designs

Utilizing Autocad and Revit LT, I design and draft a variety of structures such as basic residential home plans, boat houses, retaining walls, and general site layouts using both 2D and 3D views to convey the needed information to the client/contractor.

Performed support services as lead tech and under other techs including setup of several computers and network, assisting volunteers with the database, and interact with various persons during the event with different tasks.

Performed civil engineering tasks in relation to land development. Tasks included storm sewer design, sanitary sewer and water layout, subdivision layout, and minor grading.

Perform a variety of tasks that ranged from simple manual labor, to geometrical mathematiccalculations on the job, to accounting software development in Access and Excel, to website maintenance. Also perform drafting services in AutoCAD and Revit of boathouses for bidding and permit purposes.

Hand and electronically (using Autocad) drew everything from foundations to floor plans, set up excel spreadsheets for loan payments and company profit/loss, and performed computer tech services as I could.
