MAIL & RECORDS CLERK #3The Mail &Records Clerk is a dual classification characterized by performing mail processing and delivery duties according to established procedures, as well as the physical handling of department records. The mail function of this position requires the collection, distribution and processing of County and U.S. mail and packages either on foot or by driving a County-owned motor vehicle, depending on distance and the nature of the delivery. The records function of this position requires retention, scheduling, imaging, microfilming, and destroying of inactive court records and Official Records.

The key to ensuring a safe and secure supply chain with full product authentication and pedigree validation across the entire life-cycle of the drug product—from point of manufacture to point of dispensing—is to ensure that serialization and traceability are built into the supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution processes.Authenticate means to affirmatively verify before any distribution of a legend drug occurs that each transaction listed on the pedigree paper has occurred. I prepare drug pedigrees for prescription drug product being distributed to a pharmacy or other person administering or dispensing the drug product where required by State regulation via manual form or electronic pedigree.Duties include: 1.Verifying the Wholesale Distributor/Vendor who purchased the specific unit of the prescription drug directly from the Manufacturer.2.Verifying the Manufacturer’s NDC number.3.Verifying the name, address of the purchaser, along with the name of the prescription drug as it appears on the label4.Verifying the quantity, dosage form, and strength of the prescription drug.5.Verifying amount of drug- container size and number of containers.6.Verifying lot numbers with expiration date.7.Verification of the transaction per a secure web-based system established by the seller or an independent person.8.Email/Call – make communication with the seller9.Put away the drug in established zone, bin, cooler so designated so that Order Fillers will pick up item and send it to its requested destination.10.Post in computers the authorized locations of the drugs.
