A BumbleBee Blinds franchise is a great business opportunity for those looking to get into the home improvement industry. As a franchisee, starting in May 2023 I was able to offer a wide variety of custom window treatments such as blinds, shades, and shutters to the Nashville market customers. I worked with customers directly in order to provide them with the perfect window treatment solution for their home. My franchise also included the ability to offer professional installation services to our customers, ensuring that their window treatments looked and functioned perfectly. I officially opened in the Nashville market on 15 May 2023 after an extensive training and onboarding process provided by my franchisor Horsepower Brands. Unfortunately I had to close the franchise due to serious personal health issues last Fall.

  • Flextronics
    Operations Manager
    Flextronics Feb 2002 - Jul 2003
    Austin, Texas, Us
During my position as Operations and Implementation Manager for Flextronics Incorporated, I worked extensively with over 18 material suppliers and 4 major customers while managing 4 Supervisors and over 70 operations personnel across 3 x 8 hour shifts. One of my primary responsibilities was to evaluate all aspects of the operation through the use of performance metrics developed and deployed through my 4 Supervisors and 6 Shift Lead per-sonnel. These metrics were compiled and analyzed by measuring 18 points within the supply chain operations in order to determine where we could suggest improvements to the suppliers’ physical product, provide feedback on their dedicated shippers and to provide an honest evaluation of how well we were supporting the customer accounts. My team could always quickly provide accurate, substantive empirical data to each customer and supplier that helped them develop numerous cost saving measures and internal efficiencies within their own operations. For example, because my team measured the shippers’ exact delivery times and thoroughly documented the product condition up-on arrival, we were able to provide the customer with valuable feedback they used in choosing the best shipper to fit their needs.
