I am an intellectual property attorney with over 25 years of experience at top-tier law firms, primarily in the areas of patent litigation, prosecution, and client counseling. My experience includes all aspects of litigation, from case management and pre-litigation evaluation to motion practice, trials, and appeals. I have litigated and prosecuted matters covering a broad range of technologies, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, software systems and databases, semiconductors, business methods and e-commerce, mechanical systems, pharmaceuticals (Hatch-Waxman), bioengineering and surgical instruments, photography and xerography, and chemicals. Prior to law school, I worked as an engineer at AT&T Bell Labs developing and testing undersea and terrestrial fiber optics telephone systems. My work at AT&T Bell Labs followed graduate work at the University of Pennsylvania in electrical engineering, with a concentration in biophysics, which led to a Master’s degree and publishing of several papers. As an undergraduate at MIT, I majored in electrical engineering, with a concentration in bioengineering.
