• Supervises a team of contracts personnel overseeing Federal, State and Local and Commercial contracts and subcontracts• Negotiates terms and conditions and drafts federal contracts with vendors and clients regarding consulting and service opportunities• Reports small business numbers across all socioeconomic classifications to the federal government via the General Services Administration, as well as maintains partnerships and cooperative agreements with vendors, clients and senior leadership in ensuring percentages are met on a biannual basis• Presents informative Contracts Town Hall monthly meetings to all Public Sector staff for an understanding of basic contracting principles• Stood up a new business subsidiary, Alvarez & Marsal Federal, LLC, in May of 2023• Develops and effectively negotiates Subcontracts, Teaming Agreement, MSAs, NDAs, Contractor Teaming Agreements• Provides compliance support for contracts with municipal, State, and Federal agencies• Prepares employee handbooks and HR compliance regimes for both commercial and public sector contracts• Leads the development of trainings, documentation, and process reviews to improve systems, resulting in measurable company-wide outcomes• Presents international contract training for engagement teams (and in past positions) across member firmsworldwide and instrumental in maintaining these business relationships and opportunities• Presents contracting elements and concepts through training for business personnel nationwide (i.e.,National Contract Management Association World Congress and other conferences)• Consults on State, Local, and Education government contracts, including local laws and ordinances• Works with private equity, shareholders/stakeholders to provide optimum results for growth

o Teaches Classical and Jazz Piano, Composition, Conducting and Theory.

Involved in piano gigs of classical and jazz genres, accompaniment of other instrumentalists, as well as the leader of The Hot Lanes, a 16-person jazz orchestra based in Springfield, VA.
