Executive director of PURE 1, a reentry focused organization which seeks to help people break free from the cycle of poverty, incarceration and homelessness. Bobby is a social justice change agent dedicated to social, racial, and economic equality. With over 30 years of lived experience in the criminal justice system, he specializes in helping reentry and homeless individuals find employment, secure housing, and increase their educational attainment. Bobby has worked in San Francisco’s workforce development, specializing in helping reentry and homeless individuals. He’s a co-chair on the Legislation, Policy, and Practices subcommittee of San Francisco’s Reentry Council and sits on the Strategy Leadership Advisory Team of Excell Network, an organization dedicated to helping the formerly incarcerated change their lives through higher education.
