I’m a passionate believer in a museum’s unique ability to hold a mirror up to society and shape how we think about the world around us, while providing the space to ask urgent questions and illuminate a better future for everyone. Here at the Museum of Science, we are creating the most impactful, accessible, and future-looking center for public science learning on a global level!My vocation, perhaps even my calling, is to fuel philanthropy at every level and from every source as the engine that powers common understanding and good. As a seasoned and dedicated advocate for cultural institutions of all sizes, I’ve driven growth in operating fundraising and donor engagement, successfully completed major capital campaigns, and worked in partnership to design and deliver best in class programs. As the child of two geologists, I spent most of my formative years outdoors hiking fourteeners, digging up dinosaur bones and tracing their footprints, and serving as chief in-house colorist for meters-long cross section printouts. Together with my extensive experience in fundraising for major art institutions, I leverage a powerful blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational expertise as the foundation of my work.I am eager to partner with passionate individuals and organizations to connect the most cutting-edge science and technology experiences in innovative new ways, and most importantly, meet you where you are, whether that be here onsite at the museum, at another institution, online, or in a classroom anywhere the world!
