Over the years TF has done pathbreaking work in various areas like education, child rights, sports, PWD integration and child protection among many other areas. TF has consistently worked in most difficult terrains and demographics to make an indelible mark on the communities touched by it, Over the last few years TF has ventured to serve the youth segment of the population. The youth represent a growing portion of India’s population and utilizing their productive energies will propel the growth of the nation. However, excluding them from opportunities in the mainstream will lead to long term damage and irreparable social schisms. Towards this end TF has already devised several programs and is in the process of designing more programs to mainstream and harness the youth through training, skilling, capacity building, entrepreneurship development and attitudinal training. It is the goal of TF to positively impact at least 100,000 youth over the next 5 years leading to major social and economic upliftment. TF is active in skills and livelihoods in the states of West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar and plans to launch operations in several other states in a phased manner. Special attention is paid to the excluded demographics such as people with disabilities, addicts, orphans, trafficking victims and juvenile delinquents.
