Responsible for creating a safe, efficient and fun work environment for all OPBers. Directing facilities functions, implementing policies and procedures, engaging with vendors and contractors, forecasting space needs, negotiating lease agreements, overseeing our multimillion dollar construction renovation project at the PDX HQ, and creating a work environment that allowed OPBers, "to illuminate a wider world," and love coming into the office.*Managed onsite service support team members to provide a broad range of facilities and administrative services.*Supervised organizational expansion/construction/remodel, including but not limited to full OAC meeting lead, negotiating leases, managing contractors, coordinating remodeling and refurbishment initiatives and conducting site inspections.*Oversaw all facilities operations, including but not limited to managing vendor relationships and procurement procedures.*Prepared and monitored facilities budgets for capacity planning and directed routine maintenance.*Enforced policies and safety procedures, responded to emergencies, minimized risk by ensuring compliance with zoning laws.*Made recommendations and implemented new ways to make working at OPB more comfortable or productive for team members.
