The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for all aspects of marketing and communication strategies for Olympic Medical Center and its associated divisions.

The Communications and Public Affairs Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication activities in support of the Medical Center’s strategic goals. Primary functions include developing and implementing hospital communication plans, managing external publications and involvement in internal employee publications, media relations, providing communication and promotional support for service lines, hospital departments and administration, legislative advocacy, strategic planning and community health needs assessment coordination.. Previous positions in my tenure at OMC include: Marketing and PR Coordinator, Public Relations and Communications Coordinator, Communications and Health Promotions Coordinator, Communications Manager. Position adjustments were largely lateral, however, illustrate growth in responsibility in specific areas.

The Olympic Community of Health Board of Directors consists of leaders from tribal nations and health sectors. Together they strive to steward a participatory process to identify the greatest need and sustainably align resources and services to achieve the highest attainable level of health and well-being for all members of our communities. I represent the public hospital sector.
