Responsible for P&ID development of various wellpad facility standard designs. Completed process modeling (VMG or HYSYS), line sizing, vessel sizing, vessel specification, reviewing vendor quotations and control valve sizing. Provided conditions of service for various instruments and pieces of equipment.Assisted in three optimization studies for transmix facilities as well as several PSV studies. - Tansmix facility optimization: set up the HYSYS model based on current operating conditions and determined what changes in operating conditions would optimize production. - PSV studies: gathered field data and coordinated work with a team of 1-5 engineers. Project management and project engineering: Coordinated project completion, created project schedules, managed internal resources and reviewed/approved documents prior to client transmittal.

Producing a scintillator made of a polystyrene and PPO/POPOP mixture. Scintillator is produced using an extruder and proper parameters are experimentally determined to produce a clear material. Scintillator is tested against a cast sample. Side projects: computer restoration (required the use of MS-DOS programming) and load cell testing (required the use of reading wire diagrams).

As an assistant, I worked under a graduate student. Her main goal was to produce algae or cyanobateria that would produce alkanes by utilizing carbon dioxide, sunlight, and water. In order to produce such organisms, many transgenic techniques were used.My responsibilities included:• Using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) to amplify gene sequences used for gel-electrophoresis• Performing transgenic plasmids transfers using electroporation• Performing lipid extraction on algae• Producing TAP solution and solid plating for cell culture dishes• Growing liquid cultures of algae with use of cell count
